Next version of Windows screenshots

Due out later this year the next version of Windows called "Vista" just released a "feature complete" version, still buggy but working

Changes to Blog

You probably won't notice but I have made a few under-the-hood changes to the blog today, it now uses the flash header that the rest of my site does, the footer now runs across the entire bottom of the page, but the most important change is that it now uses a fluid layout so that the text will fill the screen instead of being constrained into a stupid little box. This was thanks to the Previous 3 column CSS layout post where I promised to implement it on the blog using CSS.

Just checked the stats and there are now over 300 people checking this blog a month, cool, and thanks. Remember you can comment on any post and I'll do my best to get straight back to you with a reply....

Installing Pocket PC CAB files to your storage card

A lot of pocket PC applications only have a cab file for an installer. When you click on this cab file it always installs the application into valuable main memory in the \program files folder.

This freeware utility allows you to install it anywhere with the option for the cab file to not be deleted after installation.

Found this handy when installing voice command from the cab file which takes up 4MB of main memory when installed in the Program Files folder.
