imate Support, warranty repairs

Credit where its due. I just got my imate JAM repaired under warranty because of a high pitched noise coming from the screen that was very distracting and annoying.

The process was painless, quick(ish) and free.

imate issued a RMA number for tracking the repair, then SBE in the UK (their authorised repair centre) arranged a delivery time with TNT couriers to come to my house and collect the phone (which I packed up with the required documentation), after a week with SBE the screen was replaced (just as well because it was fairly scratched) and sent back to me. Total time 10 days, cost to me, nothing, cool.
