REM concert The Point

I was at the point depot last night 27 Feb 2005 to see REM on their "around
the sun" tour. It was a great gig which they came out with some good oldies:

Sweetness Follows
Cuyahoga
Don't go back to Rockville (sang by Mike Mills)

As well as some of the better know hits

Apparently we were treated to a few extra songs because Dublin was their
last gig in Europe before heading to Australia, but they will be back in the
Summer, Slane ?

Stipe came back for the Encore wearing a Irish rugby jersey (Ireland beat
England that afternoon at Lansdowne road) which was greeted warmly.
